Vietnam will have a population of 101-120 million people in the near future so its capital should have 8-12 million people (Hanoi currently has 3.5 million people). Hanoi’s area is around 900sq.km and HCM City's is over 2,000sq.km. Most national projects are located in Hanoi so the capital needs to be expanded.
