Executive Leadership: Henry D. Fahman, Chairman & CEO

  • Serves as the CEO of PHILAND Corporation. Born in the Quang Nam Province of Vietnam. He has over 20 years of experience in general management, finance, investments and corporate strategy. He is the founder of Providential Securities. Holds a B.S., magna cum laude, in business administration from University of California at Berkeley; Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program (AMP166).
  • He also attended executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Stanford University. Previously served as a resettlement coordinator For the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.
Dang H. N. Le, Vice President of Operations.  Mr. Dang Le is currently serving as Associate Director of PHI Vietnam Holdings Ltd. since his joining the company in 2008. From 2007 to 2008, Dang rendered his service to Thanh Viet Investment Fund Management Corporation (TVMC) and held the post of Financial Manager, then Director of Research.
Previously, from 1999 to 2006, he served as research fellow at Department of Development Studies of Institute for Economic Research in Ho Chi Minh City, in charge of analyzing and forecasting issues of economic growth and development of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.
Mr. Le is an expert in economic development issues in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. He is also a corporate strategist and industry specialist in various industry sectors in Vietnam. Mr. Le graduated with a B.A. from University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City in 1996, a M.A. in Economics of Development from Vietnam – The Netherlands Project on M.A. Program in Economics of Development in 1999.
Hai H. Le, Vice President of Finance. Mr. Hai Le is currently serving as Head of Investment Division at PHI Vietnam Holdings Ltd, primarily in charge of the process of filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other investment related duties. Prior to assuming his post at the company, he worked as a lecturer in Banking, Finance, and Business Management at Guildhall College and Leads Academy in London, the United Kingdom from 2009 to 2011.
Before that, from 2006 to 2008, Le rendered his service as Financial Consultant and Head of Forex Division to Provimex-HTV Joint Venture Company, a special-situation entity under PHI Group umbrella.
Mr. Le obtained his MBA in International Banking and Finance with Merit, at the University of Birmingham, the United Kingdom in 2008; and Bachelor in International Business and Management Studies with Distinction, at the University of Applied Sciences of Zeeland, the Netherlands in 2006.
Tai V. Vo, Executive Vice President. Mr. Tai Vo is currently holding the position of Managing Director of PHI Vietnam Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PHI Group, Inc. In 2004, joining Thanh Viet Investment Fund Management Corporation (TVMC), the first non state-owned fund management company in Vietnam with over $100 million under management, he served as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, Tai was a managing member of Peregrine Capital Vietnam, a subsidiary of Peregrine Capital Hong Kong Limited.
In 1994, he was one of the founders of Dragon Capital Group and served as its Finance Director until 2000. From 1995 to 2000, Tai worked as Director of Vietnam Enterprise Investment Management Ltd (VEIL), a member of Dragon Capital Group. As a member of Board of Directors of Dragon Capital and TVMC, Tai has contributed many successful investment records for Vietnamese companies. Tai also has been involved in due diligence and privatization of more than 1,500 Vietnamese companies since 1994.

Daniel St.John, Executive Vice President and Project Director

  • Mr. St. John has over 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions in the areas of real estate, energy, manufacturing, distribution, services, and technology. Mr. St. John established himself in real estate after the recession of 1974 by purchasing REO Income Properties from banks, mortgage insurers, and other financial institutions. From 1977 through 1989, with Patti Thibault, they formed Capital Properties of Southern California as General Partners to develop and build income units. As owner/builders, they acquired, developed, built and/or converted, and sold over 3,000 units in California, Arizona, Florida, and Texas with real values over $130 million and a full services staff of 140 personnel in various areas of property management, operations, maintenance, architectural design, supervision, and marketing.
  • In 1989, Mr. St. John resigned as General Partner and joined Mardell Development as head of Mergers & Acquisitions to pursue his continual interest in the fields of mining, oil & gas, investment banking, and manufacturing. Since 2002, Mr. St. John has provided his management and expertise on M&A deals as the Corporate Strategist for PHI GROUP, INC.
  • Mr. St. John earned a Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Las Vegas and enjoys teaching and mentoring entrepreneurs, primarily in the areas of marketing and branding
  • Mr. St. John is involved in every planning, design and implementation stage of PRMP. Mr. St. John has extensive hospitality and residential construction development experience and provides in-depth insight through the intricate stages of coordination, primarily construction operators, information technology sales and marketing teams.
  • He works closely with international investors and partners to identify strategic beneficial opportunities for future and joint venture developments.
